studied fine art at the university of Minnesota out of a lifelong love for
art but never gave a though to trying illustration (though I have always
been a devoted fan of the craft) until i bought a computer and a wacom
tablet almost three years ago. Since that time I have focused on expanding
my skills in order to establish a career as an illustrator. I have kept an
open mind about what to paint and continue to try just about anything my
imagination comes up with. Since fantasy art (and literature) has always
fascinated me it was natural that I would eventually try my hand at it. At
this point in my efforts i find it is time to get some of my attempts out
in front of the best critics available, i.e. rabid fans, in order to get a
little feedback and see where am with the thing.
I am fairly convinced that the picture I now use as my Forum portrait (see
above) has
been my lifelong muse and stalwart companion and caretaker. Her name is
Eratinalinfalah (better sung
than spoken). Since i am but a conduit for her inspirational energies,
perhaps she can be my alter ego in Santharia:) |
