How to use the dictionary: Words are listed under words that they are related to. The first level is general. With each deeper level under a certain word, more detailed words on the same general subject are brought to view. For example, to find the Browniin for "love", we would first look under "aiei I/me", as love is an emotion, felt deep within oneself. Love is a happy emotion, and so would be found under "aieiah happy", as "aieiahah love". Action words would be found under "aooo hero". The more you discipline your mind to think like a Brownie, the easier using this dictionary will be.
A classic, a must-read for its time, Keekoo's
is the definitive word list for the Browniin tongue, now known as Old Browniin,
which Vale Browniin has remained remarkably faithful to. The text below is only
a portion of Keekoo's classic work,with close to 400 entries. As the original
was Browniin/Elvish, this translation is a work in process. It is to be hoped
that errors in this edition are kept to a minimum.
